Timed Research

Timed Research will be available to Trainers during the event! Complete the research tasks to earn a Premium Battle Pass and an encounter with Steelix.

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before the Timed Research ends.

Event Bonuses

• Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20 from Friday, July 17, at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
• Receive up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• Raichu caught from Super Mega Raids will have Mega Level 1 unlocked.
• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Raichu from Super Mega Raids.

Event Ticket

For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you can purchase a ticket that grants the following bonuses.*

• Receive up to 14 Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
• An additional 5,000 XP from Super Mega Raids.
• An additional 5,000 Stardust from Super Mega Raids.

These bonuses will be effective on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.

Where can I find Super Mega Raids?

Super Mega Raids will take great teamwork and may only appear at certain Gyms, so we’re making it easier to find nearby Gyms, Power Spots, and more using a new web-based map.

You can visit pokemongo.com/map to view both upcoming and ongoing Super Mega Raids. You can also filter the map to only show certain types of events and view events days in advance, allowing you to plan more seamlessly.

Plus, you’ll be able to view nearby community meetups through the map. If you’ve never attended a meetup before, Super Mega Raids are a great reason to go out and meet your local community of Trainers for the first time!
