	Satoshi & Pikachu Satoshi: A 10 year old young boy that aims to become a Pokémon Master. He's experiencing school life for the first time in the Alola Region! Pikachu: Satoshi's first partner Pokémon and his greatest companion.
	The Rotom Zukan Leave everything Pokémon knowledge-related to it. This is a groundbreaking Pokémon Zukan which finishing touch was having a Rotom enter it. It speaks human language and assists Satoshi on his adventure.
	Starcloud A mysterious Pokémon Satoshi picked up. Not even the Rotom Zukan has any data on it. It loves konpeito.
	Lilie A girl that loves Pokémon, but is unable to touch them for some reason. Her knowledge of Pokémon is top notch.
	Kaki He likes Fire type Pokémon. His family runs a farm, so he helps out there while also attending school.
	Mao She likes Grass type Pokémon. She's an active girl who's also a bit of a scatterbrain. She helps out at the Aina Cafeteria her family runs by attracting customers to come in and eat.
	Suiren She likes Water type Pokémon. While she's usually quiet, she's actually a girl of action. She's the oldest of the three daughters of a fisherman.
	Māmane He likes Electric type Pokémon. A science nerd with a vast knowledge of technology. When he gets into something, he analyzes the subject very thoroughly.
	Professor Kukui A professor that studies Pokémon battling and moves. He is also the class' homeroom teacher. Satoshi lives at his house during his stay.
	Principal Okido The school's principal. The cousin of Professor Okido from the earlier series. He researches Pokémon that evolve in unique ways in Alola.
	The Rocket Gang Musashi, Kojiro, Nyarth and Sonansu An evil organization which goal is to get rare Pokémon, strong Pokémon, as well as Satoshi's Pikachu.
	Gladio Lilie's older brother. He left his house and is currently training to become stronger as a Trainer.
	Lusamine She represents the Aether Foundation, and is also an excellent researcher. Lilie and Gladio's mother. She lives in Aether Paradise, the Aether Foundation's headquarters.
	Wicke An Aether Foundation admin. In charge of the Pokémon protection program.
	Sauboh An Aether Foundation admin. Chief of the research department.
	Professor Burnet A professor researching the Ultra Holes. She's a close friend of Lusamine, and as such works with the Aether Foundation. She's also an acquaintance of Professor Kukui.

The official Pokémon website has revealed the code to get one of six exclusive Pikachu. The code is: PIKACHU20 but it can only be used once.

Pikachu Dons a Classic Chapeau

This exclusive Pokémon distribution grants Trainers a Pikachu wearing Ash’s original hat.

With the 20th Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, making a limited theatrical run, we're celebrating by giving Trainers the opportunity to receive one of six exclusive Pikachu into their copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon. These Pikachu are unique as they are wearing one of Ash's hats—each one reflecting the hat Ash wore in the various regions that the famous duo has explored in the twenty years of Pokémon TV and movies.

The first of these Pikachu is wearing a hat in the style of Ash's first adventures in the Kanto and Johto regions. Ash's simple and iconic original hat is instantly recognizable by Pokémon fans, and looks perfect on Pikachu, too. Enter your code by September 25, 2017, to get a Pikachu wearing this hat.

In addition to wearing Ash's original hat, this Pikachu is equipped with a set of moves inspired by the attacks it would frequently use in the Kanto and Johto regions. This Pikachu also, amusingly, comes inside a Poké Ball, a nod to the one that the Pokémon constantly refuses to travel within in the animated adventures.

PLEASE NOTE: Although there are six different behatted Pikachu to choose from, you will only be able to get one of them via this special code. The Pikachu you get will vary depending on when you enter this code. To receive Pikachu wearing Ash's original hat from the Kanto and Johto regions, you must enter the code between 0:00 UTC on September 19 and 23:59 UTC on September 25, 2017.

To get original hat Pikachu via a special code:

• Open your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game.
• Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
• Select Receive Gift.
• Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
• Enter the code PIKACHU20.
• Watch as you receive your Pokémon.
• Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Pokémon.
• Be sure to save your game.

The Pokémon Company International and Fathom Events announced that there will be promotional goods given out as part of the 20th movies release. People that purchase tickets for the movie can receive an Ash's Pikachu Pokémon TCG Card and a QR Code that will unlock an in-game event Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. The QR Code also unlocks Ash’s Pikachu wearing its Trainer’s hat. High resolution pictures from the press release have been added to an Imageboard thread and full details on the Ash's Pikachu Pokémon TCG Card have been added to the TCG Dex.

The upcoming animated film, Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, is the 20th entry in the long-running series, and it also serves as a celebration of all the adventures that Ash and Pikachu have had over the years. BELLEVUE, WA, and DENVER—September 7, 2017—The prelude story of Ash and Pikachu’s iconic friendship has already captivated audiences in Japan, reaching the top of the charts in its opening weekend where the Pokémon franchise first began. Now, The Pokémon Company International and Fathom Events bring the highly anticipated new animated feature film Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! to movie theatres on Sunday, November 5, at 12:55 p.m., and Monday, November 6, at 7 p.m. (all local times), in select US and international markets (outside of Asia). Exact dates and times may vary by country—check local listings.

Tickets for Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! will soon be available to purchase online at www.FathomAnimation.com or at participating theatre box offices. A complete list of theatre locations in the United Kingdom will also be available shortly at the above websites (theatres and participants are subject to change).

For fans of the popular Pokémon Trading Card Game, those who purchase tickets for the November 5 and 6 showings will receive a never-before-seen Pokémon TCG card featuring Ash’s Pikachu wearing its Trainer’s hat, as seen in Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! (while supplies last). Moviegoers will also receive a QR Code that will unlock an in-game event in the highly anticipated Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon video games for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, which release shortly after the movie, on November 17. The Pokémon Company International is also delivering special Pikachu video game distributions leading up to the cinema event. The October 2017 issue of TV-kun (てれびくん 2017年10月号) has revealed that a special Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon anime arc is happening on September 14th, 2017 and September 21st, 2017. During these two episodes, SM 42: An Alola! in Kanto! Takeshi and Kasumi!! (カントーでアローラ！タケシとカスミ！！) and SM 43: Gym Battle! Z-Move VS Mega Evolution!! (ジムバトル！Ｚワザ対メガシンカ！！), Satoshi returns to his hometown in the Kanto Region reuniting with his friends Kasumi and Takeshi.
