The Pokémon TCG: Crown Zenith Tins are available at the Pokémon Center and where Pokémon TCG products are sold for $24.99 USD.

Pokémon TCG: Crown Zenith Tin

Three fearsome Legendary Pokémon have arrived from the Galar region in a trio of Pokémon Trading Card Game tins. With their own unique type and powers, Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres are forces to be reckoned with. Add their power to your Pokémon TCG collection and see for yourself!

Will you choose the atrocious attitude of Galarian Articuno, whose Psylaser attack can target any of your opponent's Pokémon? Perhaps the zippy zeal of Galarian Zapdos is more your speed. Its Zapper Kick attack can make your opponent's Active Pokémon Paralyzed in addition to causing damage. If your opponent gains the upper hand in battle, the malevolent malice of Galarian Moltres is unleashed. Its Fiery Wrath attack does more damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken.

Uploaded Image Uploaded Image Uploaded Image

No matter which of these three you choose, each comes equipped with an Ability that allows it to quickly charge up with Energy when it moves from your hand to your Bench.

In addition to the Legendary Pokémon, each tin also contains five booster packs from the special Pokémon TCG: Crown Zenith expansion to expand your collection, along with a code card for Pokémon TCG Live.

The Pokémon TCG: Crown Zenith Tin includes:

  • 1 full-art foil promo card featuring Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, or Galarian Moltres
  • 5 Pokémon TCG: Crown Zenith booster packs

The Pokémon Company has revealed the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet Build & Battle Box which will be released on March 17th, 2023 at select retailers.

Get the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet Build & Battle Box

Enjoy quick games featuring powerful promo cards. The first expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet Series arrives on March 31, 2023, but you can visit your local game store to start playing with it early! Starting March 17, 2023, select retailers will begin selling the Scarlet & Violet Build & Battle Box, giving fans a chance to have a Prerelease battle and experience the latest expansion before its official release date.

The Prerelease format allows players to compete with a 40-card deck, with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play, as opposed to a 60-card deck with six Prize cards. This format is perfect for introducing new players to the exciting world of the Pokémon TCG with quick, fun games, and it also gives seasoned players a window into all that Scarlet & Violet has to offer. Due to a limited card pool and the variance of cards that can be acquired in a Build & Battle Box, Prerelease events are also a great opportunity to flex your creative deck-building skills.

Each Build & Battle Box includes four Scarlet & Violet booster packs and a 40-card ready-to-play deck featuring key cards from the new set, as well as one of four unique foil promo cards to boost your Prerelease deck. Depending on which promo card you get, you could add the high-energy Quaquaval, electrifying Pawmot, scrappy Hawlucha, or rambunctious Revavroom. Whichever promo you do end up with, it will certainly shape your Prerelease strategy!

Quaquaval (SV005)

Dance to the rhythm of Energy flooding your board with Quaquaval and its Energy Carnival Ability. With the Dancer Pokémon in play, you’ll be able to attach a Basic Energy card from your hand to one of your Pokémon. You can either go with the flow and use Energy Carnival to attach Energy to Quaquaval itself and other Water-type Pokémon, or fight the current and attach Energy to all types of Pokémon. In the Standard format, using multiple Energy types can be dangerous, but the strategy works well with Pokémon like Quaquaval in a limited Prerelease format. If you get a second Quaquaval in play, you can use two Energy Carnival Abilities per turn, in combination with your regular Energy attachment, to potentially power up Pokémon like Kingambit and its Hack At attack in a single turn.

image

Pawmot (SV006)

Lightning-type Pokémon are excellent at galvanizing any Prerelease deck, and Pawmot is no exception. Most Pokémon rely on Trainer cards or other Pokémon to help fulfill the Energy cost of their more expensive attacks, but thanks to Pawmot’s Electrogenesis Ability, this Pokémon can get it all done on its own. Electrogenesis allows you to search your deck for a Basic Lightning Energy card and attach it directly to Pawmot. This makes Pawmot’s Electro Paws attack—which does 230 damage for a cost of two Lightning and one Colorless Energy—much easier to use during your battle. Electro Paws also discards all Energy attached to Pawmot, but Electrogenesis helps alleviate the drawback of such a powerful attack.

image

Hawlucha (SV007)

Have you ever been 10 damage short of a Knock Out during a Prerelease battle, only for your opponent to safely retreat that Pokémon to their Bench? Well, with Hawlucha and its Flying Entry Ability, you’ll be able to secure key Knock Outs when your opponent least suspects it. When you play Hawlucha from your hand onto your Bench during your turn, you may choose two of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon and put one damage counter on each of them. Whether you’re grappling for a lead or wrestling your way back into a battle, Flying Entry is a great way to put pressure on your opponent. Hawlucha even puts in a bit of extra work with Wing Attack, which does 70 damage for one Fighting and two Colorless Energy.

image

Revavroom (SV008)

The Prerelease format often lacks a great number of Supporter cards to help you draw through your deck and find what you need to set up your next play. Revavroom is here to help with its Rumbling Engine Ability, bringing even the worst hands up to speed at the cost of a single Energy card. When you discard an Energy card from your hand to use Rumbling Engine, you may draw cards until you have six cards in your hand. With an expensive attack like Knock Away, Revavroom probably won’t be doing as much attacking as your other Pokémon, but it will surely help get the rest of your game plan on track.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic

Experience the timeless joy of the Pokémon TCG with Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic—a product designed for fans to enjoy friendly battles anytime and anywhere! Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic features a foldable, portable two-player game board complete with card placement zones for your Active Pokémon, Benched Pokémon, deck, discard pile, and Prize cards. Since this board features a compartment at the center, it can also hold up to three decks and a toolbox featuring accessories you need for battling.

image image image image

Recount the days of Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise from Base Set running wild with three specially constructed decks featuring these fully evolved Kanto first partner Pokémon. These decks also feature newly printed cards to go alongside the classics, letting you form new strategies with never-before-seen cards like Ho-Oh ex and Lugia ex. Except for Basic Energy cards, the cards in these decks are not legal for tournament play, but since the game is always changing, these static decks are perfect for challenging friends and family to an evergreen battle of the Pokémon TCG.

Inside the toolbox, you'll find stackable damage counters that clearly indicate how much damage a Pokémon has taken, three-dimensional Poison and Burn markers, and metal orbs that take the place of Pokémon coins. At the center of the toolbox, you'll be able to roll these metal orbs down a small chute—if the orb lands in a white-bordered hole, it's treated as heads, and if it lands in a black-bordered hole, it's treated as tails. When playing with Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic, you'll never need to scrounge for dice or coins.

Key Features

Sporting a reimagined design, Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic contains everything Trainers need to play and collect, including:

Three Preconstructed Decks:

• Iconic cards from the history of the Pokémon TCG, including Base Set Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, headline three specially constructed 60-card decks featuring Grass, Fire and Water Energy types.
• Alongside classic cards, brand-new cards such as Ho-Oh ex, Lugia ex and Suicune ex are included, allowing players to form new strategies.
• Except for Basic Energy cards, cards included in Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic cannot be used for tournament play. However, these static decks are perfect for challenging friends and family to a Pokémon TCG battle at any time.

High-Quality Game Board:

• The foldable and portable two-player game board comes with card placement zones for Active Pokémon, Benched Pokémon, a card deck, discard pile and Prize cards.
• The game board features a compartment that holds up to three decks, as well as a toolbox complete with all gameplay accessories needed for battling.
• The game board offers a premium fabric surface that allows cards to easily slide across, non-stitched edges to avoid cards getting caught when playing, a fabric hinge eliminating gaps in the board and built-in magnet to minimize noise during gameplay.
• The black-and-white color scheme of the game board has been designed to match the toolbox and card sleeves while maintaining a visual focus on the cards and tools.

All-Inclusive Toolbox:

• The toolbox contains enough gameplay accessories for two players to battle, including stackable damage counters, three-dimensional Poison and Burn markers and metal orbs that take the place of Pokémon coins.
• Players will be able to roll metal orbs down a small chute — if the orb lands in a white-bordered hole, it’s treated as heads, and if it lands in a black-bordered hole, it’s treated as tails — removing the need for dice and coins.

Intuitive Damage Counters and Special Condition Markers:

• The toolbox includes a set of damage counters featuring yellow 10-damage counters, orange 50-damage counters and red 100-damage counters.
• In addition to the bright colors, each damage counter prominently displays the damage count on its side, allowing players to quickly calculate the total damage count.
• Designed with a conical shape, the damage counters are stackable to maximize visibility of in-play cards and allow for easy storage.
• Made from aluminum, the damage counters are moderately weighted to prevent falling over when vertically stacked.
• Three-dimensional, ring-shaped Poison and Burn markers are also included in the toolbox to allow players to easily identify these Special Conditions.

Elegant Card Sleeves and Deck Boxes:

• Featuring a Poké Ball motif, three kinds of card sleeves are included to protect the three preconstructed decks.
• Card sleeves have been purposely designed in a black-and-white color scheme to maintain visual focus on the card artwork.
• Three deck boxes featuring the Grass, Fire and Water Energy symbols match the preconstructed decks and allow for easy storage of sleeved cards when not in use.
