The official Pokémon website has announced that there will be a distribution of promo cards at Pokémon League Events each month starting on November 1st, 2019. Acro Bike, Escape Board, and Fiery Flint will available while supplies last at local league events while top participants in current League Challenges will get a Professor Elm's Lecture promo card and League Cup competitors can earn a Cherish Ball promo card.

Collect Pokémon TCG Promo Cards at Exciting Pokémon League Events

Join a Pokémon League today to meet friends, have fun, and get cool promo cards.

A new Pokémon League season is beginning, offering new opportunities to have Pokémon TCG battles with Pokémon fans in your area and to earn awesome promo cards! Pokémon Leagues are local events held at stores that are open to all collectors and competitors of any level. It's a great way to discover the fun of Pokémon tournaments and trade cards with fellow fans.

With the launch of the new Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse expansion on November 1, Pokémon League participants can earn some great promo cards. Each week you attend your local League, you can receive one of these specially stamped Trainer cards—Acro Bike, Escape Board, and Fiery Flint—while supplies last.


Once you're ready to step up your game, many of the locations that host Pokémon League also hold League Challenge and League Cup tournaments. Earn prizes and get started on the road to the Pokémon World Championships by competing in these smaller events. Top participants in current League Challenges will get a Professor Elm's Lecture promo card, and League Cup competitors can earn a Cherish Ball promo card (while supplies last). Each League Cup Champion will also earn an awesome playmat commemorating their achievement!

The official Japanese TCG website has announced that the Pokémon Card Game Sword and Shield 7/11 Limited Special Set Starter Set V Fire (ポケモンカードゲーム　ソード＆シールド　セブン-イレブン限定スペシャルセット　スターターセットV炎) set will be sold exclusively at 7-Eleven in Japan starting on November 29th, 2019 and will include a Victini V card. The other 4 starter sets are not exclusive to 7-Eleven and can be purchased separately for 1556 yen plus tax. The Starter Set V Fire costs 3,080 yen with tax. The Pokémon Center Shibuya will open on Friday, November 22nd, 2019 at the Shibuya PARCO Floor 6. The legendary Pokémon Mewtwo is the mascot for this cool newly designed store. Pokémon Center Shibuya Opening Commemorative Merchandise

Merchandise commemorating the opening of Pokémon Center Shibuya will be released on Friday, November 22nd, 2019! Graffiti art goods that celebarate Shibuya's street culture, a collaborative line of goods with Nintendo TOKYO, and the "CRYSTAL STONE" series using Swarovski® crystals will be available. The promotional card "Shibuya Pikachu" is a limited design that commemorates the opening of the Pokémon Center Shibuya. Supplies were limited for this card and it is distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Pokémon Center Shibuya - Shopping Bags

Starting on November 22nd, 2019, Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores nationwide in Japan will be distributing a plastic featuring the Pokémon Center Shibuya campaign design. The Pokémon Center Shibuya will also be distributing an original paper shopping bag.

EB Games Canada has announced that they will be holding a Pokémon Play and Trade Event at participating locations on November 2nd, 2019. Those that bring a friend to the event and learn about the Pokémon Trading Card game can get a free Trade and Play Day Kit while supplies last. Card trading is intended for children under 16. All trades should be done fairly.

On Sunday October 13th, 2019 from 10.30am to 4.30pm, the Pokémon Center Singapore will be holding a Pokémon TCG Battle Day where players have a chance to win an attractive playmat or TCG card sleeves.

Calling all Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) enthusiasts! Think you have what it takes to be the very best? Prove it at the Pokémon TCG Battle Day, at Pokémon Center Singapore!

The Pokémon TCG Battle Day will be held at Pokémon Center Singapore on 13th October (Sunday), from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Each day, 16 trainers will have the chance to battle it out to prove their skill at the Pokémon TCG, and the top 3 will stand to win an attractive playmat or TCG card sleeves!

So head on down to Pokémon Center Singapore to challenge other trainers and show them your playing and deck-building skills!

※ No entry fee is required for participation.
※ This is not a Play! Pokémon-sanctioned event; no Pokémon TCG Championship/Play! Points will be awarded to participants for this event.
※ 16 slots for participation are available on each day; registration to participate will be from 10.00am to 10.15am on the respective Battle Days, first-come first-serve.
※ The tournament will be in single-round elimination format; the winner will be decided from best-of-three matches, with a 50-minute time limit (plus 3 extra turns after time limit expires).
※ Pokémon TCG decks are not provided. Please bring your own deck to participate.
※ Only original English-language Pokémon TCG cards may be used during the event.
※ Only one 60-card deck may be used during the event; no proxy cards are allowed to be used dulring the event. All cards in the deck must be sleeved.
※ The deck used for this event must be legal in the 2020 season Pokémon TCG Standard Format (Ultra Prism - Unified Minds).
※ Any participant found to have breached any of the rules above will be eliminated from the tournament, and the win will be given to their opponent.

The official Japanese Pokémon Card Game website has announced the first Sword and Shield promo card. The Pikachu (001/S-P) card is being exclusively distributed to people who pre-order a copy of Pocket Monsters Sword or Shield through 7net. The cards full card artwork features Pikachu and the 3 Galar starter Pokémon: Sarunori, Hibanny and Messon. The card can be played with expansion packs and pre-built decks and it can also be used in official competitions.

The Pokémon Company International has announced the newest Pokémon Trading Card Game Expansion Sun and Moon Cosmic Eclipse which will be released on November 1st, 2019. High resolution revealed card pictures have been added to an Imageboard thread.

Collect Solgaleo & Lunala-GX in New Pokémon Trading Card Game Expansion, Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse, Alongside Video Game Distribution Featuring Shiny Solgaleo and Shiny Lunala

Fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game can look forward to a variety of new Pokémon and Trainer TAG TEAM combinations in the next expansion, Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse, releasing worldwide on November 1 from The Pokémon Company International.

Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse will welcome two new TAG TEAM trios—the Mythical and Legendary Pokémon combination of Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX, as well as the adorable-but-mighty Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff-GX—as shown for the first time during the 2019 Pokémon World Championships. The expansion will also feature new TAG TEAM Supporter cards that depict two characters, such as Red & Blue and Cynthia & Caitlin, on a single Trainer card. Fans can also keep their eyes peeled for special versions of select cards that feature illustrations of Pokémon with their Trainers.

Other key highlights of Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse include:

• Nine new TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX
• Seven more Pokémon-GX
• More than 20 Trainer cards and a new Special Energy card

Once released, cards from Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse will be available in the Pokémon TCG Card Dex app, which offers an easy way to digitally browse and discover cards from the Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon Series.

To celebrate Solgaleo and Lunala teaming up in the Pokémon TCG, players can receive Shiny Lunala in their copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun, or Shiny Solgaleo for Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon. Trainers will be able to pick up download codes at participating retailers from October 1 through November 15.
