Professor Okido announced news on some special presents. First, he announced merchandise of Tornelos, Voltolos and Landlos, which appeared in this episode. Ten people got three different Monster Collection sets each and ten people got a stationery set as a present, chosen via lottery. Viewers were asked to write their name, age, address, telephone number as well as which present they wanted and send it in.

Next, he announced a Pokémon as a present! While playing normally, players can only obtain one of the legendary Pokémon, but for a limited period of time viewers could get Voltolos or Tornelos as a present via Wi-Fi connection. In Pocket Monsters Black, you can get Voltolos, while in White, you can get Tornelos. Furthermore, their OT, item and moves are inspired by the anime. Professor Okido also announced there'll be more presents in the next episode.

Instead of that, to celebrate the fact that Satoshi got a Pokémon egg, a special segment where the Pokémon Mystery Egg Campaign (ポケモンなぞのたまごキャンペーン) event was announced was aired. The event Pokémon that were distributed and had to be hatched from eggs were Mamepato, Kibago and Yanappu.

The initial airing of this episode didn't contain a Live Caster segment. Instead of that, to celebrate the fact that Zuruggu hatched from Satoshi's egg, a new event was announced. Satoshi's Zuruggu was distributed via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection starting on the 27th of January until the 10th of February.

That segment revealed information on the present those who purchased the special pre-order tickets to the upcoming movies Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom would receive. It showcased the event Victini's special moves, V-create and Searing Shot and showed that it can contribute a lot in battles.

That segment revealed information on the event Pokémon to be given away as a present for those who attended Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom in theaters. The event Zekrom would be distributed to players of Pocket Monsters Black, while the event Reshiram would be given out to players of Pocket Monsters White. It also revealed that players who have both legendary Pokémon can use the special move Dual Cross, a combination move of Fusion Bolt and Fusion Flare.

Information about the pre-order ticket for the movie was also discussed. Those that pre-ordered a ticket for the movie could get a Deoxys (デオキシス) for the Japanese Nintendo GameBoy Advanced games Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen (ポケットモンスターファイアレッド&リーフグリーン) from June 19th, 2004 until August 31st, 2004. A Deoxys Complete Getting Guide ~Preparation~ (デオキシス完全ゲットガイド ~じゅんび編~) was also given out.

Okido announced that the ending theme for the series would be changing and that Momo-iro Clover Z (ももいろクローバーZ) would be singing the song. The song is called: Look at this (Mitemite☆Kotchitchi みてみて☆こっちっち) and a clip from their live performance on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at the Toda City Culture Hall (戸田市文化会館) was shown.

The pre-order tickets for Pocket Monster Movie 15 - Kyurem VS the Sacred Swordsman Keldeo (キュレムVS聖剣士ケルディオ) were also showcased and they went on sale April 14th, 2012. The Keldeo event distribution was discussed.

The announcer informed viewers that they already knew that with the claim tickets attached to pre-ordered tickets for the 12th Pocket Monsters movie, they could use the Nintendo DS games Pocket Monsters Diamond, Pearl or Platinum to receive a Pikachu-colored Pichu. He announced the moves for the Pikachu-colored Pichu and depending on the way players used the moves, they could gain the upper hand in their battles! Furthermore, if they took this Pikachu it to Pocket Monsters HeartGold or SoulSilver, they could meet the jagged-eared Pichu!

Okido revealed that an Eievui event would take place at the Pokémon Centers in Japan from November 10th, 2012 until December 31st, 2012. A special Fes Mission would be available at all the Pokémon Centers for Japanese players of Pocket Monsters Black 2 and White 2. The mission changes a bit depending on what time period players receive the mission at the Pokémon Centers though as the time period determines which Pokémon players can get from the mission.

Mission Time Periods:

  1. November 10th until November 22nd - Showers / Thunders / Booster
  2. November 23rd until December 7th - Eifie / Blacky
  3. December 8th until December 21st - Leafia / Glacia
  4. December 22nd until December 31st - Eevee / Showers / Thunders / Booster / Eifie / Blacky / Leafia / Glacia
Okido also showed Eievui evolution plushies. There was a viewer quiz and the viewers got to see a lineup of the Eievui evolutions from the episode and the question asked was: "Which was the last Pokémon we saw?" (最後に登場したポケモンは?). Below were the multiple choice answers with Leafia (リーフィア) being the correct answer. Three winners would be given a set of 8 plushies featuring Eievui and its 7 evolved forms, while three further winners would be given a "Talking Friend" Eievui plushie and 4 pieces of stationary from the Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Fancy Series 2 stationary line.

In conjunction with the anime series Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Season 2, Okido announced that a Pokémon World Tournament Isshu League download would be made available for players of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 from December 3rd, 2012 until January 31st, 2013.

The characters in the downloaded tournament include some of Satoshi's main rivals in Isshu: Shootie, Kenyan, Kotetsu and Virgil and they correspond to their anime equivalents.

Okido announced the distribution of Iris' Kairyu on the Japanese Pokémon Global Link through an unlock code provided to viewers that played the Data Broadcast game during BWS2-N 9 - The Plasma Gang's Ambitions! Pokémon Under Mind Control!! (プラズマ団の野望!操られたポケモンたち!!).

The Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Data Broadcast is an additional segment that allows people with a compatible settop to play a game to capture a Pokémon. During the original TV Tokyo airing, the featured Pokémon could be registered in the data broadcast Zukan by correctly answering a question about it.

Kairyu (カイリュー) is level 55 and has the ability Multiscale. It knows the following moves: Dragon Rush, Safeguard, Wing Attack and Thunderpunch.

This year's special pre-order movie ticket allowed viewers to get a Lv. 100 Mewtwo at the peak of its power! People could purchase pre-order tickets for Movie 16 which were on sale from Saturday, April 20th, 2013 to Friday, July 12th, 2013 in order to get the Mewtwo. The Mewtwo was distributed from June 15th, 2013 until September 1st, 2013.

The princess of the Diamond Ore Country Satoshi meets, the mythical Pokémon Diancie, was distributed at the theater and a clip reminding viewers was shown. Not only that, but it also knows Diamond Storm, a move no other Pokémon can learn.

On top of that, Darkrai, the mythical Pokémon people could get in exchange for the special pre-order movie ticket, knows Phantom Force, a special move it normally can't learn was also showcased in the clip.
