Regina's Glaceon (Mirche) had very low energy as it had been using a lot of attacks protecting Regina from bullies at school. It was taken with its family to Vermilion City so that it could be checked out by Professor Cerise as the lab had a good reputation.

Chloe Cerise was very interested in Glacia, the evolved form of Eievui, and actively talked to Regina, Micie, who is trying to protect Regina, is wary of people from the school she's never seen before, and to her surprise, she gets annoyed at Go and Koharu's classmates and froze them in ice.

After it was revealed that it had been protecting Regina from bullying and Regina's parents were finally relieved to figure out what was going on, Regina and Regina's Glaceon (Mirche) went back home and began to do Pokémon battles.
