Summary
This week featured a new rerun theme 'New friends! Get Pokémon!' and Pokémon! I Choose You! (ポケモン!きみにきめた!) was this weeks repeat episode. A full summary of the episode is available in the Episode Guide.

The live action part of the show started off with Akiyama trying to make as many different silly faces as he could in 10 seconds. He was able to make 11 different faces. Golgo, Professor Red and Shoko-tan walk in and ask what's going on. Yamamoto explains what they are doing and Golgo decides to try. He was able to beat Akiyama and do about 30 difference faces.

In the next segment, the crew wanted to see how many steps professional dancers could get while dancing with the Pokéwalker. The professional dancers were on one team and it consisted of three girls, a belly dancer, a hula dancer and a samba dancer. To make it interesting, Robert were put on another team and the team with the most steps would win. Robert would also have to do the dance to the best of their ability. Yamamoto and the belly dancer went first as they went across the room dancing. Baba and the hula dancer went next and then finally Akiyama and the samba dancer went last. Robert ended up with 228 steps and the Dancer Team ended up with 148 steps. Shoko couldn't believe Robert had won.

One of the major changes to the show was the addition of a widescreen border. The episode still airs in 4:3 but it now includes a border to pad the video to widescreen instead of having a black border.
