An Interview with the Producer of Pokémon Evolutions
Andy Gose offers insight into the creation of Pokémon’s newest animated limited series.
In September 2021, Pokémon released the first episode of a new limited series that celebrates 25 years of Pokémon. We spoke with Pokémon Evolutions producer Andy Gose about the process of creating this exciting animation. Collaboration between Pokémon and Sumo at the January 2022 Grand Sumo Tournament!
From January 9th, 2022 to January 23rd, 2022, in cooperation with the Japan Sumo Association, The Pokémon Company will be holding a collaboration event at the January Grand Sumo Tournament at Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall that combines the appeal of Pokémon and sumo!

Laplace Cafe CROSS B PLUS
The Pokémon Company and Miyagi Prefecture have been collaborating on various initiatives to promote tourism and support reconstruction since Laplace became a Miyagi Support Pokémon in July 2019. As a special project of the Laplace + Miyagi Tour (ラプラス＋宮城巡り), a café in featuring Laplace will be open from December 17th, 2021 to January 16th, 2022 as part of a tourism campaign organized by Miyagi Prefecture. In this project, Laplace, the Pokémon for Miyagi, Ishitsubute, the Pokémon for Iwate, and Lucky, the Pokémon for Fukushima, which are also active in Tohoku, will join forces to make the event more exciting.

Rokon Jet Hokkaido
AIRDO announced today that the Rokon Jet Hokkaido (ロコンジェット北海道), a specially painted AIRDO aircraft, will enter service on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, with the aim of stimulating tourism in Hokkaido, with which they have concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement with The Pokémon Company.
AIRDO announced today that the Rokon Jet Hokkaido (ロコンジェット北海道), a specially painted AIRDO aircraft, will enter service on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, with the aim of stimulating tourism in Hokkaido, with which they have concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement with The Pokémon Company.
