The Pokémon anime episode airing Friday June 5th, 2026 is... episode 139, "The Secret Metamon Rhapsody"! Laudbon and Lugarugan (Midday Form) are eating Berries in secret when they're approached by a Metamon who's tried to Transform?!

With the arrival of the Pokémon that "Transforms" into all sorts of things, the Brave Asagi is in total chaos!!!

Airing every Friday at 6:55 PM! Broadcasting every week from 6:55 pm! The anime "Pocket Monsters" will start airing soon! In this article, we'll introduce you to the Pokémon and characters that will appear in today's episode, as well as comments from the voice actors and director, and other information you won't find anywhere else!


Just as everyone had fallen asleep, two shadows stirred in the hold of the Brave Asagi... They were none other than Laudbon and Lugarugan, looking for berries! Are they having a secret midnight snack? But if they eat without telling anyone, Cap will find out and get mad at them! ...Just as I was saying that, they look—behind them!!

▲ Huh? If you look really closely, something seems off...... Is this really a cap?

It turns out that the one who appeared before Laudbon and Lugarugan wasn’t actually Cap, it was a Metamon that had “Transformed" into Cap! Metamon seems to be able to "Transform" into all sorts of things, and it loves making everyone happy and putting smiles on their faces! The Pokémon aboard the ship can’t help but smile at the innocent Metamon, and they hit it off right away... but then...!?

The Brave Asagi is in the middle of a big cleanup, and the Pokémon try to keep the fact that a Metamon has sneaked aboard the ship a secret from Liko and the others, but... As the Metamon keeps using "Transform", the ship descends into total chaos!!

ラウドボーンとルガルガンの前に現れたのは実はキャップではなく、キャップに「へんしん」したメタモンだった！
メタモンはいろんなものに「へんしん」できるみたいで、みんなを喜ばせて笑顔にするのが大好き！　無邪気なメタモンに船内のポケモンたちも自然と笑顔になり、すぐに意気投合するのだが……!?
