Three new Japanese XY promo cards will be distributed throughout June 2015. Players that compete in a Blacky Night Battle Tournament (ブラッキーナイトバトル) held at participating locations between June 1st, 2015 and June 30th, 2015 have the opportunity to get the All-Night Party (オールナイトパーティ) and Blacky (ブラッキー) cards. All those that participate in a tournament get the All-Night Party card, while those that win a tournament will receive a Blacky (ブラッキー) card.

Also, a Celebi promo card will be distributed to people that buy a booster box containing 20 Banded Rings packs. Details of these cards have been added to our TCG dex.

The June 2015 Corocoro was released on May 15th, 2015 in Japan and the issue officially reveals information on a new move called Hyperspace Fury (いじげんラッシュ).


A scoop on a Hoopa-exclusive move!! "Hyperspace Fury (いじげんラッシュ)!!" It's a Dark type move that can only be used by Hoopa's new form, "Hoopa Unleashed"! It's an incredibly powerful attack from all directions!! It deals damage even if the opponent uses "Protect" or such.

Hoopa appears in the new Tretta version!
Hoopa can appear at the end the battle and can summon Ultimate Class Kyurem out of the ring. The Ultimate Class Kyurem will be available starting on May 14th, 2015 in the latest expansion Pokémon Tretta Ultimate Set 2: Glaciate! Kyurem's Assault (ポケモントレッタ アルティメット2弾 こごえるせかい！ キュレム強襲).

Pokémon Rumble World
The code 58410198 to unlock Keromatsu in Pokémon Rumble World was announced. It knows the moves Water Shuriken and Bubble Beam.

New Banded Rings Cards
Three new cards were revealed for Banded Rings (バンデットリング). Hoopa EX, Kyurem EX and Lugia EX will be released in Japan on June 20th, 2015.

Hoopa Unbound / Hyperspace Fury Trailer

The latest English TCG set Double Crisis was released on March 25th, 2015 and the set information has been added to our TCG database. Also revealed was a new English TCG set called XY Roaring Skies which will feature over 100 cards and will be released on May 6th, 2015. Two Rayquaza cards from the set were also revealed.



Those that attend XY Roaring Skies Prerelease tournaments can get and play with cards two weeks before the expansion’s official release date. A Promo Altaria card will also be awarded to all participants.

Japanese retails have begun receiving the sell sheets for the XY7 Pokémon TCG expansion which will be called Banded Rings (バンデットリング). The set will be released in Japan on June 20th, 2015 and will include at least 97 cards. Booster packs will cost 150yen plus tax and include 5 cards.


Also revealed was the Legendary Holo Collection (伝説キラコレクション) which will be released on July 18th, 2015 to coincide with the release of the 18th Pocket Monsters movie. The set will include at least 27 cards and many of those cards will be holo's. Booster packs will cost 186 yen plus tax and include 4 cards.


A Enbuoh EX vs Togekiss EX (エンブオーEX vs トゲキッスEX) deck will be release on July 18th, 2015 as well. It will come with 60 cards and will cost 1200yen plus tax.

The Pokémon Black Rayquaza Campaign (ポケモン 黒いレックウザキャンペーン) takes place in Japan from March 14th, 2015 until June 30th, 2015. Various promotions are being held throughout this time period related to Black Rayquaza.

Black Rayquaza Event Distribution

Corocoro Comics presents another opportunity for players to receive an alternate-colored Black Rayquaza. Players of Pokémon X or Y or ORAS can receive it. It is a different Rayquaza than the one that was distributed at the World Hobby Fair '15 and therefore players that received that Rayquaza may also receive this one. The serial code will be distributed from March 14th, 2015 until April 12th, 2015. Players can use the serial code to obtain Rayquaza from March 14th, 2015 until May 15th, 2015. Full details of this Rayquaza distribution have been added to our Event Database.

Players may also obtain a serial code from 7-11 stores that have a 7Spot. It can be wirelessly accessed in-store via the Nintendo 3DS and players can then obtain the serial code.

Moncollé Black Mega Rayquaza Lottery

Takara Tomy is holding a lottery contest where 1000 people will get a Moncollé Black Mega Rayquaza that will only be obtainable through this promotion. In order to enter, participants must send in 3 bar codes from Tomy's Pocket Monster Collection Series of products between March 14th, 2015 and July 31st, 2015. Winners will be announced and shipped the prize.

Emerald Break - Black Alternate-colored Rayquaza EX Promo Card

Specially marked Emerald Break (エメラルドブレイク) TCG expansion booster packs contain a Pokémon Card Chance (ポケモンカードチャンス) ticket. Those that collect three points could turn them in between March 14th, 2015 and May 7th, 2015 for a Rayquaza promo card. Players needed to send in their Chance cards in an envelope with their information and address in order to get this promo card. Not all Chance cards have points as some are listed as 0 points and can not be used to obtain the promotional card.


Rayquaza (レックウザEX) 122 XY-P is the promo card that can be obtained in the Pokémon Black Rayquaza Campaign promotion. Its stats and details are identical to the Rayquaza (レックウザEX) 123 XY-P promo card that was released around the same time in the April 2015 issue of Corocoro except the color of Rayquaza is different.

Pokémon Pan x Pokémon Kids - GET Alternate-colored Mega Rayquaza Campaign

Bandai and Daiichipan are holding a Pokémon Pan x Pokémon Kids - GET Alternate-colored Mega Rayquaza Campaign where people can purchase specially marked goods and product that have a ticked which can be used to enter the lottery where 1000 people will receive a Black Mega Rayquaza Pokémon Kids Pearl Version [黒いメガレックウザのポケモンキッズ（パールVer.）] figure.


During the campaign period which takes place from April 6th, 2015 until June 30th, 2015, people can print out the application card and attach their three product tickets from eligible Bandai Pokémon Kids and Daiichipan products and include their address, name, age, phone number and drawing of Pikachu and send it to the appropriate address.

The Pokémon Company International has created a contest for players of the Nintendo 3DS program Pokémon Art Academy. The Pokémon Company International invites Pokémon fans and budding illustrators to enter an International Pokémon Art Academy Contest via Miiverse. Pokémon Art Academy is available exclusively on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS systems and offers aspiring Pokémon artists 40 lessons in how to paint, sketch, and draw popular Pokémon.

Students of Pokémon Art Academy can pick up illustration skills that they can transfer onto real canvas, or they can share their digital masterpieces with the world. Now, would-be artists can enter a special competition via Miiverse which allows them to showcase their talents as graduates of the Pokémon Art Academy!

The competition will open on 18 February 2015 at 00:01 GMT and close on 29 March 2015 at 23:59 GMT and the winners will be announced in May 2015.

Donning an array of new looks, Cosplay Pikachu can learn moves that ordinary Pikachu cannot learn in normal gameplay, and all have fun costumes that are sure to inspire the would-be costume designers who enter this category.

My Favourite Pokémon

This category gives entrants the chance to submit their own artistic impressions of a favourite Pokémon, which they can do using the Free Paint mode of Pokémon Art Academy. So, if Snorlax awakens an inner Leonardo da Vinci, or Rayquaza gets fans painting with flying colours, then this is their perfect category!

Details of how to enter can be found below, so all that remains is for Pokémon fans to grab a stylus and start discovering their inner artist with Pokémon Art Academy!

*The winners’ cards will not be made available for sale in regular Pokémon TCG products nor will they be eligible to take part in Play! Pokémon officially sanctioned organised play events.

Important Note on Regions

There will be three winners in each category across the participating countries. The following countries are included:

Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, and Russia

The following country is excluded: Italy

How to Enter the Pokémon Art Academy Competition

· Create and save an image in Pokémon Art Academy using Free Paint mode.
· Select the “Share” option from Pokémon Art Academy’s main menu and connect to the Miiverse.
· Select the “Post to Competition” option and agree to the Terms of Use.
· Highlight the category you’d like to enter and then choose “Select Competition”. Only the first post you make will be recognised as your entry.
· Slide over the image and select it and then choose “Share Selected”.
· Enter a comment (if you would like to) and then select “Post”. The image will be posted to the Miiverse Community and entered into the competition.
· The only way to enter the competition directly is from the Pokémon Art Academy game, available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS systems.
