5) GOUGING FIRE IN AREA ZERO: Discovered in Area Zero with Briar and Omodaka's help. Joined the group.
6) THE BLACK RAYQUAZA IN AREA ZERO: Descended immediately after the 5 others had been assembled! After a fierce fight, all 6 were now together!
OFF TO THE POKÉMON PARADISE OF RAKUA!!
The Black Rayquaza now guides the group to Rakua. Is it going to be a virtual paradise...?!

The Pokémon anime episode airing Friday February 21st, 2025 is... episode 85, "Arrival! The Paradise of Rakua". Liko, Roy, Dot and Friede finally arrive in Rakua. Deeply moved by the sight, they start searching for 100 year old traces of Lucius!

Rakua is a virtual paradise with rich and plentiful nature and many wild Pokémon living in peace and quiet! As Liko and the others explore, they even come across Pippi and a Pixy taking an afternoon nap. It appears Rakua maintains a warm temperature due to geothermal energy.

The official Japanese Project Eevee X account posted a notice on February 19th, 2025 that Eievui and some of its Eeveelutions would be in this episode.

The Pocket Monsters anime airs every Friday at 18:55! The episode airing tomorrow, Friday February 21st, is episode 85, "Arrival! The Paradise of Rakua"! The Pokémon found in the Pokémon paradise of Rakua also includes Eievui and the others! Make sure to check it out, okay?

On February 21st, 2025, the official Japanese AniPoke Twitter account reminded that this episode was available to watch on the official Japanese YouTube channel. The video was region locked. It was available from February 21st, 2025 to February 28th, 2025. This episode was specifically labeled as a missed-program webcast (見逃し配信).

The episode was also available on the TV Tokyo YouTube channel and the Official Corocoro Channel and were labeled as limited-time delivery (期間限定配信) and were region locked. The TV Tokyo version included the series trailer at the end of the episode where as the Corocoro version had beginning and ending bumpers promoting Corocoro.

I wrote the script for episode 85 of the Pokémon anime!

Broadcasting every week from 6:55 pm! The anime "Pocket Monsters" will start airing soon! With the help of the Six Heroes Pokémon, Liko and her friends reach the summit of Mt. Kumli. After walking through the forest spreading across the mountain peak, what they saw was... a truly paradise-like view of nature and many wild Pokémon living there!!

Liko and her friends continue farther into the Rakua, searching for traces of Lucias, who visited here 100 years ago. In front of Liko and her friends was something like a wall blocking their way...!? And there is also a Pokémon watching Liko and her friends...!?
