The International Space Station (ISS) orbits at an altitude of 400 km. The KIBO space broadcasting station began broadcasting programs on August 12th, 2020. The KIBO Space Broadcasting Organization was established as part of JAXA Space Innovation through Partnership and Co-creation (J-SPARC), which links the International Space Station (ISS) and the ground in real time and delivers programs live through interactive communication.
The Pokémon Company, Coca-Cola Japan and Twitter are all partners for this broadcast. As part of the broadcast, Pokémon will appear via augmented reality, so look forward to a collaboration with Pokémon set in space!
