Australian Nationals Shiny Mamoswine Distribution

The official Australian Nationals website has updated to add information about a Shiny Mamoswine distribution. This is the same Mamoswine that is being distributed at National Championships around the world.

At the 2013 Pokémon World Championships, Arash Ommati led an epic team to victory to become World Champion. Now you can add a Mamoswine to your game based on one of the stars from his winning party! This Lv. 50 Shiny Mamoswine is built to do massive damage with four devastating attacks—Icicle Spear, Earthquake, Icicle Crash, and Rock Slide. It is also holding a Choice Scarf to help make up for Mamoswine’s relatively slow speed.

Everyone who attends the Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships can get Mamoswine—not just the competitors. Be sure to bring your Nintendo 2DS or Nintendo 3DS console and copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y. Look for signs at the Melbourne Town Hall for more details on how to get Arash’s Mamoswine!

The Pokémon Company has posted the latest Pokémon the Series: XY English dub episodes on iTunes for purchase in North America and the United Kingdom. The Pokémon: BW Adventures in Unova (Box Set 1) was just revealed by Viz Media for release in North America on September 23rd, 2014, so fans will have a gap in the episodes available for purchase for a few months. Older episodes were recently posted on Netflix and Hulu. The DVD releases in North America have been notoriously slow and many of the seasons have been very hard to purchase due to high DVD prices. Beyond Home Entertainment in Australia though has been fairly up to date with the previous season DVD releases, but this marks the first time that current season episodes of the English dub are available for purchase.

Image Image

The first 23 episodes of the series are available which is up to date with the United States airings on Cartoon Network. CITV in the United Kingdom is currently a few episodes ahead of Cartoon Network in the US but oddly they can only purchase the first 16 episodes at the moment.

The Pokémon the Series: XY is available to purchase in Standard and High definition. There are currently two volumes for purchase and each volume sells for $21.99USD/£19.99 in HD and $19.99/£18.99 in SD. The first episode of the series is available for free on the North American iTunes posting but individual episodes can also be purchase separately for $2.99/£2.49 in HD and $1.99/£1.89 in SD.

Pokémon the Series: XY, Vol. 1 and 2 Description

Ash Ketchum’s journey continues in Pokémon the Series: XY as he arrives in the Kalos region, a land bursting with beauty, full of new Pokémon to be discovered! Setting his sights on the Kalos League, Ash is ready to battle and catch as many new Pokémon as possible. But first he will have to face the formidable Gym Leaders of this region and discover some exciting developments in Pokémon Evolution. On Thursday June 12th, 2014 episode of Oha Suta, host and Pokémon alumni Kōichi Yamadera (山寺宏一) presented clips and footage from the 17th Pocket Monsters movie that featured Diancie. Footage from the Movie 17th Press Reading which took place on Wednesday June 11th, 2014 was also shown. All of the guest voice actors for the movie were in attendance for the press reading. Images from the episode are on the Imageboard thread.

Yoshiko Mita plays Xerneas, her first ever anime role. She describes Xerneas as the originator of life itself. "It has this air, this aura around it." Yamadera joked that Mita has such an aura around her as well.

Mayu Watanabe will be narrating the short. She was nervous at first, but she's been wanting to be in a Pokémon movie for so long and calmed down because she was having so fun dubbing.

Marilyn is played by Rika Adachi. She had a lot of fun working together with Yamadera in the scenes that were shown on Oha Suta.

The comedy duo Nakagawa-ke consists of Tsuyoshi Nakagawa who plays Nite and Reiji Nakagawa who plays Algus. Yamadera jokes that they got cast because they have the same last name as Shoko-tan. Nite doesn't speak any actual Japanese lines, just Poké-language.

On Thursday June 5th, 2014 episode of Oha Suta, Office Chief Taka and Producer Toshi presented this episode's installment of Oha Oha Ranking. It was a crossover/promotion segment for Pokémon Get TV. Taka insisted on doing the presentation. He then presented "Office Chief Taka's 3 Favorite Pokémon".

Number 3: Lucario - "Because it's cool. And strong."
Number 2: Kamonegi - "Because it's cute. And strong. And I like it's color."
Number 1: Karakara - "Because it's cute, and it wears a skeleton... it has the skull of its mother on it's head. It protects its poor mother, like a mother protects her girl from the rain while waiting for the bus... I want to wear my mother's skull the same way."

Toshi did not approve of that idea, and thought the entire explanation was rambly irrelevant nonsense. A quiz was also conducted in the segment.
