Japanese Summary:

サトシとゴウは、ちょっとした気持ちのすれ違いからギクシャクしてしまう。そんな2人の前に、なんと伝説のポケモン・ルギアが現れた! 2人が初めて出会った日にも、姿を見せたルギア。一緒に冒険をし、成長してきたサトシとゴウ。再会したルギアに2人で挑む。ルギア! レイドバトルだ!!

Satoshi and Go's relationship is starting to get strained as the two realize they're not quite on the same page. Just after it was revealed in Japan that Ash's journey as the main character of the anime series was coming to an end, Sarah Natochenny, Ash's English dub voice actor posted a Tweet on December 16th, 2022, expressing her thanks for being the voice of Ash.
