The official Anipoke Korea X account has announced that those who attend a Movie 8 showing in theaters starting on January 22nd, 2025, can get Aaron's Lucario for Scarlet or Violet. At the end of PM2019 117, the three movies that won the voting for the 25th Anniversary Pokémon Film Festival were announced with a special teaser video. A longer version of the video was available to watch on the official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel but it is region locked to Japan. Full details were revealed on the official Pocket Monsters movie website and Toho has a list of theaters that will be holding the film festival.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Satoshi and Pikachu's adventures, the "Get a summer of memories! The 25th Anniversary Pokémon Film Festival" will be held! Everyone's votes have been counted and the results are in for the three films that will be screened at movie theaters.
From September 2nd, 2022 to September 8th, 2022, theaters screened all three movies. Viewers were asked to check the website of the theater for the screening schedule.
Present Distribution:
Starting on August 11th, 2022 until supplies last, serial codes for a Latias and Satoshi's Pikachu (World Cap) were distributed in theaters and the codes could be redeemed in Pokémon Sword or Shield until September 30th, 2022. A Pikachu Pokémon Mezastar Tag was also distributed.
Starting on August 19th, 2022 until supplies last, serial codes for a Jirachi and Satoshi's Pikachu (World Cap) were distributed in theaters and the codes could be redeemed in Pokémon Sword or Shield until September 30th, 2022. A Pikachu Pokémon Mezastar Tag was also distributed.
Starting on August 26th, 2022 until supplies last, serial codes for a Dialga that could be redeemed in Pokémon Shield or a Palkia that could be redeemed in Pokémon Sword were distributed in theaters in addition to the Satoshi's Pikachu (World Cap) code. A Pikachu Pokémon Mezastar Tag was also distributed.
A serial code will be distributed to players of the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl or Pokémon LEGENDS Arceus games that they can use to redeem a Regigigas in the game of their choice from June 1st, 2022 until July 31st, 2022.

Trainers, The latest Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, is releasing globally on Netflix on Friday, October 8, 2021! In celebration of the movie’s release, Zarude, the Rogue Monkey Pokémon, will be making its Pokémon GO debut! You’ll be able to encounter it by completing limited-time Special Research. You can also look forward to lots of other in-game content inspired by the movie, including the return of Jessie and James to Pokémon GO.

A limited-time Special Research story will be available! Complete this research line to encounter Zarude and help Professor Willow learn more about the Rogue Monkey Pokémon. Encounter Pokémon related to Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle! Hoothoot, Combee, Drilbur, Cottonee, Dwebble, and more will be appearing more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Larvitar!
Explorer Pikachu will be making its return to Pokémon GO, appearing in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Explorer Pikachu!

Get themed Field Research tasks from PokéStops that’ll lead to encounters with Audino, Rufflet, and more. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Rufflet!

BELLEVUE, Wash., and LOS ANGELES—September 7, 2021—The Pokémon Company International and Netflix announced today that the next animated movie in the Pokémon franchise will premiere on Netflix around the world with the exception of Japan, China, and Korea on October 8, 2021. First revealed in November 2020, “Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle” marks the 23rd animated Pokémon movie in the franchise.
The first official international trailer for the movie was released today and can be viewed here. It features “Always Safe” and “No Matter What,” two original songs written and recorded by music artist Cyn for the movie. Fans can look forward to hearing these songs during the movie on October 8 and stream them on popular music platforms beginning today. Cyn is also one of the many notable artists participating in the P25 Music program celebrating 25 years of Pokémon, for which she wrote and recorded another new song, “Wonderful.”
“During Pokémon’s 25th anniversary year, we wanted fans to have the opportunity to experience the newest animated Pokémon movie simultaneously as a global community,” said Emily Arons, senior vice president of licensing at The Pokémon Company International. “Pokémon animation is a much-beloved pillar of the franchise, and Netflix is the perfect partner to once again help us deliver a worldwide moment for fans as we celebrate 25 years of action and adventure with Ash and his Pikachu.”

To further celebrate the announcement, beginning today, Trainers will be able to receive Dada Zarude and Shiny Celebi—both as featured in the movie—in their Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield games by signing up for Pokémon Trainer Club email notifications. Trainers who register in this way by September 25, 2021, will receive a Pokémon Trainer Club email containing a distribution code for both Pokémon on October 7, 2021.
Fans can also look forward to a crossover with Pokémon GO celebrating the global launch of “Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle” on Netflix. More details will be announced soon. The official Pocket Monsters movie site has updated and has announced the Pokémon the Movie Coco Blu-ray Special Limited Edition for 7,200 yen, the standard blu-ray for 5,500 yen and the DVD release for 4,500 yen (tax included).
