Script Error

The Japanese original uses the word kandou (感動) which means displaying and being deeply moved emotionally. One of Alan's character traits is that he does not show outward emotion or his feelings. Manon is questioning if Alan is emotionless, while Mairin is questioning his lack of curiosity.

The English dub translated the word as "a sense of wonder" which is a way of describing someone who is thinking on a higher intellectual state usually triggered by the vastness of knowledge and the universe and while they can be emotionally moved by that realization, it is not the emotional state that Alan is in nor was it the emotional state Manon was trying to convey in the Japanese original.

Mairin: Alain, don't you have any sense of wonder at all?
Manon: Tell me, don't you have this thing called "emotion"?
マノン: あのさ 感動ってものはないの?

Script Error

The English dub changed the units of measurement to miles. 100 miles is only 161 kilometers, not the "200km" that the Japanese original stated.

Steven: This is the ocean located approximately a hundred miles from Rustboro City.
Diago: This is footage from the sea 200 kilometers off Kanazumi City here.
ダイゴ: これが ここ カナズミシティより200キロ離れた 海上の映像です。
01:39

Script Error

Manon responds by saying Groudon's name in the form of a question in the Japanese original while Mairin actually beings saying a question to clarify that they said Groudon but she doesn't actually say its name in the English dub.

Mairin: Did you say...
Manon: "Groudon"?
マノン: グラードン?

The third special! The legendary trio Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza finally clash! Alan and Daigo confront them using M-Lizardon and M-Metagross respectively!

Summary:
The story thus far: Alan travels around with his partner Lizardon in order to fulfill his goal of mastering Mega Evolution and stand on top as the strongest. With the newbie Trainer Manon in tow, he participates in Mega Evolution battles in all kinds of places. The two of them encounter Champion Daigo in the Houen region and decide to search for the legendary megalith together with him. But then, Rayquaza suddenly appears. Alan and Daigo fight it, but it ends up just disappearing.

Alan continues his journey to master Mega Evolution and stand on the top as the strongest. Together with Daigo, he pursues the legendary megalith that disappeared together with Mega Rayquaza. During this search, he receives information that Groudon has suddenly appeared in the sea. Alan and the others hurry to the location in question, where not only Groudon appears before them, but Kyogre as well. Furthermore, Rayquaza descends from the heavens and a grand battle between the legendary trio begins! What will this mean for Hoenn's future!? Will Alan and the others even survive this!?
