Kenichi Suzumura is a Japanese voice actor, narrator, and singer that is affiliated with the talent agency INTENTION. He also goes by the stage names Suzu (スズ) and Suzuken (スズケン). He is married to fellow Pokémon voice actress Maaya Sakamoto

On May 27th, 2022, Shogakukan released a press release summarizing the upcoming Masters Eight Tournament and also posting comments from voice actors. The official Anipoke Twitter account also posted the voice actors comments.

Depending on how you look at it, Daigo is a wide-ranged person and can be seen as sharp-tongued, a nice person, very cool and endeared by many. I have been playing the role of Daigo since the Pocket Monsters XY TV anime series, and I have found new things about him in this series.

Those of you who have long supported Pokémon will be watching the upcoming Masters Tournament with great anticipation, and I will enjoy being able to participate in the festivities as Daigo. You'll be seeing him in his "strongest and amazing" form, so don't miss it!
