A strange energy is emitted from the sky and an Unown pops out, landing right on Misty's head. The Unown appears to be sick and missing its friends. Misty confirms this, as for a moment when their heads knock together, Misty reads its mind! She sees a wonderland filled with Unown, and is amazed by what it looks like. Brock heard a legend that Unown can telepathically connect with human minds, leading Ash to try to reunite the Unown with its friends. That task proves difficult, as scientists believe Unown live in an entirely different dimension! When Unown awakens, Ash reassures the Unown he will get it back home, no matter what. The next day, Unown seems better, due to the help Larvitar gave it; Larvitar understands what it's like to be without family and friends, so it bonds easily with the lonely Unown. Suddenly, Team Rocket step in to try and take Unown! Larvitar's tries to use its Hidden Power to stop them, only to have Wobbuffet Counter the attack. To keep everyone safe, Unown teleports Ash and crew to the Unown Dimension! Togepi and Pikachu appear much larger than normal, or Ash, Misty and Brock are smaller, depending on your point of view. Suddenly, the Electabuzz theme song begins, followed by a trip to Magby and Slowpoke, leading Misty to believe the Unown are creating a dimension off Ash, Misty, and Brock's most recent adventures. When they get to a shot of Ash in color and Brock and Misty in black and white, they discover that this world is taken specifically from Larvitar's memory! The Counter attack accidentally led the Unown to merge with Larvitar's mind. Ash gets sucked into a different part of the mind along with the others, who have all returned to their normal size now. Here, a voice in the background keeps repeating how scared it is, and images of the poachers who originally stole Larvitar's egg show up. They are blown away by Larvitar's mother Tyranitar, who was badly hurt in the process. This explains fully why Larvitar is so afraid of humans. Larvitar then appears amongst a tower of thorns, which represent the pain it went through as an egg. Ash, Brock, and Misty try to get Larvitar out of there along with Pikachu, but the thorns turn into ice encasing it. Ash is able to break the ice, freeing Larvitar from its troubles once and for all. They return to the real world, where Larvitar has finally learned to trust Brock and Misty. Unown is thanked by Ash for the help, just in time for the other Unown to return it to their world!

C’est ce qu’Ondine a lu dans les pensées du Zarbi quand le Zarbi a heurté sa tête ! Elle voit aussi un monde merveilleux, peuplé de Zarbi, qui lui semble enchanteur. Pierre apprend à ses amis qu’on raconte que les Zarbi peuvent communiquer avec les humains au moyen de la télépathie. Nos héros veulent alors aider le Zarbi à retrouver ses amis. Cette mission va être difficile, puisque d’après les scientifiques, les Zarbi vivent sans doute dans une autre dimension ! Quand le Zarbi se réveille, Sacha le rassure qu’il le ramènera chez lui, quoi qu’il arrive. Le lendemain, le Zarbi semble aller mieux et ce grâce au soutien d’Embrylex ; Embrylex sait bien combien il est difficile d’être loin de ses amis et de sa famille, aussi se lie-t-il facilement d’amitié avec l’Embrylex esseulé. Soudain, la Team Rocket surgit, prête à s’emparer du Zarbi ! Embrylex utilise Puissance Cachée pour les arrêter, mais il ne fait pas le poids face à Qulbutoké et son attaque Riposte. Pour que tous soient à l’abri de la Team Rocket, Zarbi téléporte Sacha et ses amis vers la dimension des Zarbi ! Togepi et Pikachu sont bien plus grands que d’habitude, ou bien c’est peut-être que Sacha, Ondine et Pierre sont devenus plus petits ; c’est une question de point de vue. On entend soudain la chanson d’Élektek, puis nos héros rencontrent un Magby et un Roigada. Ondine se demande si les Zarbi ne seraient pas en train de créer une dimension inspirée des souvenirs les plus récents de Sacha, Ondine et Pierre. Quand ils voient des images de Sacha en couleur et de Pierre et Ondine en noir et blanc, ils comprennent que ce monde provient de la mémoire d’Embrylex ! L’attaque Riposte a causé la fusion accidentelle des esprits de Zarbi et d’Embrylex. Sacha et ses amis se retrouvent dans une autre partie de la mémoire d’Embrylex, et tous ont retrouvé leur taille normale. On entend une voix, qui répète sans cesse qu’elle a peur et des images des braconniers qui ont dérobé l’œuf d’Embrylex apparaissent. Ils sont repoussés par la mère d’Embrylex, Tyranocif, qui subit des blessures. Embrylex apparaît ensuite prisonnier d’une tour d’épines, qui représentent la douleur qu’il a subie quand il était dans l’œuf. Sacha, Pikachu, Pierre et Ondine tentent de libérer Embrylex, mais les épines deviennent une prison de glace. Sacha parvient à briser la glace, libérant Embrylex pour de bon. Tous retournent au monde réel, dans lequel Embrylex a enfin appris à faire confiance à Sacha, Pierre et Ondine. Sacha remercie le Zarbi pour son aide, juste avant que les autres Zarbi ne le ramènent vers leur monde !

Eine seltsame Energie erscheint am Himmel. Auf einmal stürzt ein Icognito herab, das Misty am Kopf trifft. Das Icognito scheint nicht nur krank zu sein. Misty ist außerdem davon überzeugt, dass es seine Freunde vermisst, denn als das Icognito auf ihren Kopf gefallen ist, konnte sie seine Gedanken lesen! Sie konnte auch ein Wunderland erkennen, das nur so von Icognito wimmelte. Rocko erzählt ihnen, dass es in einer Legende heißt, dass Icognito telepathischen Kontakt mit Menschen aufnehmen können. Daraufhin fasst Ash den Entschluss, das Icognito wieder mit seinen Freunden zu vereinen. Dies ist jedoch keine leichte Aufgabe, denn die Wissenschaft glaubt, dass Icognito aus einer anderen Dimension stammen. Als das Icognito aufwacht, verspricht Ash, dass er alles geben wird, um es wieder nach Hause zu bringen. Da sich Larvitar um Icognito gekümmert hat, geht es diesem am nächsten Tag schon viel besser. Larvitar weiß, wie es ist, ganz allein zu sein, daher versteht es sich sofort mit dem einsamen Icognito. Plötzlich tritt Team Rocket auf die Bühne. Sie wollen sich Icognito schnappen! Larvitar versucht sie mit seiner Attacke Kraftreserve aufzuhalten, jedoch stellt sich Woingenau mit seiner Attacke Konter dagegen. Icognito bringt Ash und seine Freunde in Sicherheit, indem es sie in die Icognito-Dimension teleportiert. Togepi und Pikachu sind dort viel größer oder unsere Helden sind viel kleiner – es kommt wohl auf die jeweilige Sichtweise an. Auf einmal ertönt das Lied von Elektek und ein Magby und ein Laschoking erscheinen. Unsere Freunde gelangen schließlich zu einem Ort, der ihnen Ausschnitte ihrer bisherigen Abenteuer zeigt. Ash erkennt sich in einem Buntfilm, während Misty und Rockos Aufzeichnungen in Schwarz-Weiß sind. Ihnen wird klar, dass sie sich in der Gedankenwelt von Larvitar befinden! Durch die Attacke Konter sind Icognitos und Larvitars Geist verschmolzen. Plötzlich werden unsere Freunde in einen Bereich der Gedankenwelt gezogen, in der alle ihre normale Körpergröße haben. Dort hören sie auch eine verängstigte Stimme und sie sehen, was sich vor langer Zeit abgespielt hat. Die Gedanken Lavitars zeigen, wie drei Schurken damals das Ei mit Lavitar gestohlen haben. Despotar, Lavitars Mutter, konnte sie nicht aufhalten, denn es wurde schwer verletzt. Daraus lässt sich auch erklären, warum Lavitar vor Menschen Angst hat. Als Nächstes ertreckt sich vor unseren Freunden ein riesiges Dornengeflecht in die Höhe, das Lavitar in seinen eigenen Erinnerungen gefangen hält. Ash, Rocko und Misty wollen Lavitar helfen, aber die Dornen verwandeln sich in einen eisigen Käfig. Zusammen mit Pikachu gelingt es ihnen schließlich, Lavitar zu befreien. Es kann nun endlich ohne Ängste leben. Unsere Freunde gelangen wieder in die reale Welt. Lavitar vertraut ihnen nun. Ash bedankt sich bei Icognito, denn durch dessen Hilfe konnten sie Lavitars Gefühle verstehen. Auch Icognito kann nun endlich in seine Welt zurückkehren.
