Japanese Summary:

世界一みすぼらしいといわれているポケモン・ヒンバス。その魅力はどうやったら伝わるのか?「みずタイプポケモン仲良しコンテスト」でヒンバスの秘密が明らかに!?

サトシとゴウは、コハルの弟・ソウタから相談を受ける。友達のナミが、自分のポケモンが可愛くないとみんなに言われ、悩んでいるというのだ。そのポケモンとは、世界一みすぼらしいと言われるポケモン・ヒンバスだった。みんなに認めてもらうため、ナミとヒンバスは「みずタイプポケモン仲良しコンテスト」の優勝を目指す。実は、ヒンバスというポケモンにはスゴイ秘密が隠されていた!!

Japanese Summary Translation:

Hinbass is said to be the shabbiest Pokémon in the world, so how can someone demonstrate its appeal? Hinbass' secret gets revealed in a "Water Type Pokémon Friendship Contest"?!

Koharu's little brother Sota has come to Satoshi and Go for advice. He explains that his friend Nami is feeling bad because everyone keeps telling her her Pokémon isn't any cute. The Pokémon in question is a Hinbass, which is said to be the shabbiest Pokémon in the world. However, Nami and Hinbass aim to win the Water Type Pokémon Friendship Contest in order to make everyone acknowledge it, since the truth is that Hinbass hides an amazing secret!!
