Summary
Ash has just finished his training, and now him and his friends want some food. They begin to head back to camp. May and Max are very hungry too. Brock agrees to cook them a good meal. Corphish sees a sleeping Loudred. It pokes the Loudred. The Loudred moves but doesn't wake up. Then Corphish pinches Loudred's ear. This wakes Loudred up. It gets mad and goes in a rampage. It stampedes right through Ash and co. Brock sends out Forretress. It spins its way through a wall that leads to the outside. Ash tells Pikachu and the others to follow them. Loudred crashes into the wall. The crash causes May to drop Silcoon. Silcoon rolls down the cave. Pikachu and the other Pokémon chase after it. Loudred then digs a hold in the ground and rests.

Ash and co. notice that all of their Pokémon are missing. Silcoon has landed on a leddge. Pikachu can't reach Silcoon. Corphish uses its claw to grab onto Silcoon, but it drops it and Silcoon falls into the river. The Pokémon all jump into the river. The river leads them to a waterfall. They go down the waterfall, and from there they land in a forest. Corphish is stuck in the ground. Pikachu tries to pull Corphish out but can't. Treecko gets Corphish out by using Pound. Corphish flies in the air and then comes back down. Corphish didn't like the way how Treecko treated. Treecko and Corphish are ready to fight each other, however Pikachu and Mudkip break up the fight. Torchic is a little worried that they won't find their trainers, but Pikachu reassures it that they will.

Ash and co. have searched the whole cave, but they still can't find their Pokémon. Ash thinks the Pokémon might've gone outside. May is worried that Torchic will meet another scary Pokémon like the one they saw before. Max says that it was a Loudred. Ash looks up Loudred in his Pokédex. Then they go outside.

Team Rocket is also in the cave. They are searching for Ash and co., and they hope they don't get lost. Jessie points to a dark portion of the cave. She tells James that it was his job to bring a flashlight. James says that he thought Meowth was in charge of it, and Meowth thought Jessie was in charge of the flashlight. Wobbuffet pops out again. Jessie notices that it is standing on a sleeping Loudred. The Loudred wakes up and blasts Team Rocket out of the cave.

Pikachu and friends continue to walk in the forest. Corphish sees four mushrooms. It picks one up. Before it can eat it, Pikachu hits the mushroom out of Corphish's claws. Pikachu scolds Corphish by telling it that the mushrooms are poisonous and that it can get sick again. Mudkip points to a few bushes that are full of berries. Corphish runs over to the bushes and begins stuffing its face full of berries. It chokes on one the berries. Treecko uses Pound again to knock Corphish out, but the berry that Corphish was choking out falls out of its mouth.

They continue to walk in search for Ash and co. A Nuzleaf is watching them from a tall tree. Pikachu and friends walk in circles between a rock. They eventually get tired because of the Nuzleaf. The Nuzleaf is confusing the Pokémon. Pikachu and Treecko look around them. They see Nuzleaf laughing in a tree. Treecko throws its twig at Nuzleaf. Nuzleaf jumps down from the tree. Pikachu and friends gets angry at Nuzleaf. Corphish attacks Nuzleaf. Nuzleaf dodges the attack, but a part of its leaf gets cut off because of Corphish's claws. Nuzleaf calls out for the rest of its friends.

Ash and co. are in the forest too looking for the other Pokémon. May is worried about Torchic and Silcoon. Ash tells May that as long as the Pokémon are sticking together nothing will happen to them. Pikachu and friends are walking through the forest. Corphish sees some food hanging by a rope. It holds onto the food and is pulled up. Lotad sees a spring of water. It jumps in the water to cool off for a bit. A net is then triggered capturing Lotad. Treecko notices something is strange. It sees that Lotad and Corphish are missing. A rope is then hoooked onto Treecko's tail. Treecko is pulled up. Pikachu and Torchic walk past a flower. Torchic notices the flower. Then it sees a little hill filled with flowers. Torchic walks towards the hill to smell them. A net is dropped on Torchic. Then Nuzleaf grabs Silcoon. Pikachu and Mudkip notice it.

Taillow has spotted Pikachu and Mudkip. It turns back to tell Ash. At another side of the forest, Nuzleaf has the Pokémon captured in a cage. Treecko tackles the cage, but it doesn't break. Corphish tries to destroy the cage with Crabhammer, but that doesn't work either. Team Rocket is watching the Nuzleaf from behind the bushes. Meowth says that Corphish damaged one of the Nuzleaf's leaves, so they are angry at them since their leaves on their heads are very important. Pikachu and Mudkip run up to the Nuzleaf. Team Rocket plans to capture Pikachu and the Nuzleaf. Pikachu and Mudkip try to reason with Nuzleaf.

Suddenly, a net falls on the Nuzleaf capturing them. Pikachu is also captured by a mechanical arm. Team Rocket says their motto to Ash and co.'s Pokémon. Meowth asks Jessie if they should capture Mudkip too. Jessie tells Meowth that they don't need it. Then Ash and co. find the Pokémon. Taillow uses Quick Attack and Forretress uses Rapid Spin to blast their way through the cage. May is happy to see Torchic and Silcoon. Then they notice that Team Rocket is at a high distance. Corphish uses Crabhammer on Ash. Ash flies up and grabs onto the net that is holding the Nuzleaf. Ash promises to free the Nuzleaf. He begins to untie the knot. Team Rocket laughs since they have tied the knot well. Ash bites on the knot. He breaks the rope and frees the Nuzleaf. The Nuzleaf land back on the ground.

Now Ash has to get Pikachu free. He pulls on the mechanical arm. James sends out Cacnea. Cacnea uses Pin Missile at Ash. Ash dodges the attack, and the needles end up hitting part of the mechanical arm allowing Ash to get Pikachu. However, Ash and Pikachu are so high up that it is almost impossible to jump. Brock points to the net. They can use that to get Ash. Brock tells the Nuzleaf that they will need their help too. Brock and the others have the net set up. Ash jumps down from the balloon and lands in the net. Then Treecko uses Pound on Corphish. Corphish flies up towards Team Rocket. It blasts Team Rocket's balloon with Bubbleabeam. Team Rocket blasts off again.

Corphish begins to fall. It falls but Treecko ends up catching Corphish in the end. Corphish and Treecko finally become good friends. Ash then thanks the Nuzleaf for all of their help. The Pokémon including the Nuzleaf have a good time with each other. Ash looks up Nuzleaf in his Pokédex. They are happy that everyone is getting along well.
