Japanese Summary:

ゴウとソニアが英雄伝説の新事実にたどり着く!そんな中、ナックルシティから大きな衝撃と赤い光が発生!遂に伝説のポケモン・ムゲンダイナが姿を現す!どうする、サトシ!?

英雄伝説の謎を解き明かそうとラテラルタウンの遺跡へと向かったゴウとソニアは、怪しげな男たちに襲撃される。ダイマックスバトルを繰り広げる中、その衝撃で崩れた壁画の奥に、とあるポケモンの石像を発見する。ゴウはサトシに電話し、英雄伝説の新事実を話すが、その途中、ナックルシティから大きな衝撃と赤い光が発生!ローズが復活させようと暗躍していた伝説のポケモン・ムゲンダイナが、遂に外へ飛び出したのだった!!

Go and Sonia learn a new detail about the hero legend! Meanwhile, a massive shockwave blasts out from Knuckle City alongside red light! The legendary Pokémon Mugendaina finally makes its appearance! What will you do now, Satoshi?!

Go and Sonia are on their way to the ruins in Lateral Town to solve the mystery of the hero legend when they are attacked by a group of suspicious-looking men. A Daimax battle breaks out, and the shock from it causes a mural to collapse, leading to them discovering a stone statue of a certain Pokémon behind it. Go calls Satoshi and tells him the new detail they just learned about the hero legend, but at that moment a massive shockwave blasts out from Knuckle City alongside red light! The legendary Pokémon Mugendaina, who had been operating behind the scenes and whom Rose is attempting to bring back, has finally leaped out!!
