Summary
It's a sunny day and Ash waves his new battle frontier symbol in the air. He puts it in its case. Max checks his PokeNav to see where they go next. May is cleaning the Pokémon Egg. Then she puts the egg carefully inside its case. They begin to walk when suddenly they hear a thunderous sound. They look up and they see the sky filled with dark clouds. A bolt of lightning comes falling down hitting a place nearby. They go off to see what happened.

Max sees a bunch of Pokémon lying on the ground injured. They hear a strange sound coming from deep in the bush. Sparks of electricity show and the kids wonder what it is. They look and see that an Elekid is battling an Exeggutor. May looks up Elekid in her Pokédex. Elekid spins its arms very fast and unleashes a shock of electricity at Exeggutor. Exeggutor falls down but it gets back up. Elekid continues to spin its arms and releases another jolt of electricity at Exeggutor. Exeggutor falls against a tree and faints. Now Pikachu is ready to battle Elekid. Elekid fires a blast of electricity but Pikachu dodges the attack. Pikachu uses Iron Tail but Elekid dodges as well. Elekid spins its arms again and it uses another Thundershock at Pikachu. This time the attack hits Pikachu and it falls to the ground. Then Pikachu begins to use Volt Tackle but Elekid punches Pikachu back. Elekid fires a Thunderpunch at Pikachu but Phanpy blocks the attack. Phanpy uses Rollout and Elekid falls to the ground. Elekid uses Thunder and electricity flies everywhere. May's egg flies right out of her arms. Max gets zapped and trees fall to the ground. The egg gets thrown onto Elekid's head. Elekid gets mad and destroys everything around it.

A few minutes later, Elekid has escaped. May notices that Elekid has her egg and they run to find it. Elekid tries to take the egg out of its head but it's stuck and his gets Elekid mad. Team Rocket is walking along. They see a Scyther on the ground and they go check it out. Then Elekid comes by and it manages to take out the egg that was stuck on its head. Elekid fires a Thundershock at Team Rocket and they blast off. However, Manene goes into the opposite direction of Team Rocket and they get split apart. Ash and his friends are still looking for the Pokémon Egg. Team Rocket is looking for Manene. Team Rocket sees the Pokémon Egg laying on the ground. Meowth goes up to it and picks it up. Max spots Manene on the ground. Manene looks hurt and Ash and his friends run over to help it.

Team Rocket is sitting on a stump. James is worried that something might've happened to Manene. Whenever Jessie and Meowth talk about Manene James gets filled with anger. Manene wakes up from its nap. Everyone is happy that it is fully recovered and they search for the egg again. Elekid pops out from behind the bushes again. May notices that Elekid doesn't have the Pokémon Egg. Pikachu and Phanpy get ready to battle Elekid. Elekid uses a Thunderpunch but both Pokémon dodge the attack. Phanpy uses Rollout but Elekid dodges it and uses Thundershock. The attack knocks Phanpy backwards and lots of damage occurs around Elekid.

Team Rocket is still searching for Manene. Suddenly, sparks appear nearby and Elekid comes to them. James starts to walk fowards but Jessie and Meowth stop him. Elekid uses Thunderpunch which sends Team Rocket off again. Team Rocket walks along the road again all tired out. A Seedot appears and Meowth talks to it. Ash and co. are still searching for that egg and they haven't found it yet. Brock figures out that Pikachu was once overcharged with electricity and that Elekid might be in the same situation. A blast of electricity gets thrown to the ground. Pikachu stands on a rock and blue lightning comes down and electrifies Pikachu. Pikachu withstands the blast and is now supercharged with electricity.

Elekid comes out of the bushes again and is ready for battle. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt but Elekid dodges the attack. Elekid uses Thunderpunch but Pikachu dodges the attack too. Suddenly, Team Rocket comes in their mechanical Golem. They get out and say their motto. May notices that James has the Pokémon Egg and James notices that May has Manene. James and May exchange the egg and Manene with each other. Team Rocket fires out a net but Pikachu and Elekid dodge. Pikachu tries a Thunderbolt on Team Rocket but that doesn't work. Phanpy gets out to use Tackle but the attack has no effect on the mechanical Golem. Team Rocket throws three rocks at Phanpy, but Phanpy uses Rollout to bounce the rocks into the ground. Phanpy tries a Rollout on the Golem but that has no effect as well. Pikachu uses Iron Tail on Elekid and Elekid uses a Thunderpunch on Pikachu. Both attacks miss. Meowth aims a fist at Phanpy and punches it. Elekid gets ready to attack Team Rocket when Pikachu jumps onto it and they both fire the electricity at Team Rocket. The meter begins to rise. The two Pokémon push harder to destroy the mechanical Golem. The meter rises even more. The meter gets to the red zone and the mechanical Golem breaks. Ash congratulates Pikachu.

Team Rocket is still standing. They reach out a hand for Pikachu and Elekid. Phanpy tries a Rollout on the Golem but nothing happens. Team Rocket pushes Phanpy out of the way. Phanpy evolves into Donphan and gets stronger. May looks up Donphan in her Pokédex. Donphan uses a Rollout and Team Rocket falls to the ground. Then Donphan uses Hyper Beam and Team Rocket is sent blasting off again.

Elekid is now turned back to normal. Elekid leaves and they wave goodbye to each other.

Eyecatch Pre-episode Message

In order to alert the viewers that the episode is about to start, a special eyecatch was used. The eyecatch is a countdown towards the beginning of the episode and contains scenes from previous AG openings, Advance Adventure and Pokémon Symphonic Medley. The split-screen scenes with Haruka and Takeshi were updated versions of the Advance Adventure ones that reflected the changes in the characters' Pokémon teams. More specifically, the scene that depicted Takeshi's Mizugorou and Takeshi's Hassboh was replaced with a scene from Takeshi's Numacraw's battle against Satoshi's Juptile that took place in AG149, while the scene that depicted Haruka's Achamo and Haruka's Agehunt was replaced with a scene from Haruka's Gonbe's battle against Shiromi's Rafflesia that took place in AG151. The countdown ends with Satoshi reciting his catchphrase, "Get Pokémon!" (ポケモンゲットだぜ!, Pokémon getto da ze! ).
